Horror films will always have an audience no matter what. The genre, though underexplored yet highly branched out, remains one of the most popular because everyone loves to test their limits. This year has been interesting for horror as we recently saw the release of The Exorcism. Additionally, Nicolas Cage marked his presence in the genre with a film released in April called Arcadian. Yes, horror fans, Nicolas Cage has graced the West with Arcadian, and many other regions are yet to see the film. But worry not, we have you covered. As per the latest update, Arcadian is now set to stream in India, and below is all you need to know about this most interesting update of the day.

Arcadian marks Nicolas Cage’s reunion with his The Trust director Benjamin Brewer. A movie that spans many genres but is mainly horror, it also stars Jaeden Martell and Maxwell Jenkins. After its time in the West, Arcadian is all set to meet its Indian fans and will be streaming on Lionsgate Play. Yes, you read that right. The Cage starrer is all set to have its Indian OTT premiere on the Lionsgate-backed platform.
Lionsgate Play, in the past few months, has given us some of the best re-releases of the year, including The Iron Claw, Replicas, Dream Scenario, and Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon. The streamer is now set to bring more Nicolas Cage content to its library, which already has plenty of his work, and we aren’t complaining. However, there is no streaming date attached to Arcadian as of yet. Considering the calendar is full until June 28, the Cage starrer will likely hit the platform sometime in July.

As per Collider, Nicolas Cage, while talking about Arcadian, said, “It's very simple really. Two of my favorite genres, independently spirited family drama—you know, grew up watching East of Eden, Kazan, Ordinary People, Redford—and then science fiction horror in that category, in this case particularly specifically science fiction. If you mash those two and the...the dynamic of the family, which is a father and two boys, which is largely what my family dynamic was, because sadly my mother couldn't be around as much as we would have liked her to have been around. So my father did all the heavy lifting, so I wanted to tell a story about that family dynamic and then mash it up with science fiction and see what we could come up with, and I'm happy with these results.”
An alien species is out there wanting to eradicate humans from Earth. The cleansing takes place every night when people do everything to survive. Some succeed while some die. Paul (Nicolas Cage) lives with his two sons and is fighting the same battle. They are safe until the day one of his sons doesn't return home till late, and Paul has to set out to find him and bring him home.
