Arbaaz Khan recalls father Salim Khan’s slap to Salman Khan, the reason will surprise you

Bollywood’s Khan brothers, Salman, Arbaaz, and Sohail, often show their sibling bond to the world. The brothers are also very close to their father, Salim Khan. Both Arbaaz and Sohail revealed a mischievous and bratty side of Salman Khan during a recent podcast show, as they shared some interesting anecdotes. The younger siblings recalled an old incident when father Salim Khan struck Salman Khan with a slap. Read on to know the reason for this wacking...

When Salman Khan received a playful slap

Arbaaz Khan reminisced about a childhood memory in the podcast Timeout with Ankit. The Dabangg actor called his elder brother Salman naughty and exposed his mischievous side. He even recalled the time when he used to get whacked because of his naughty incidents.

“Salman was older, he was the naughty one. He used to get yelled at by dad, halki-phulki maar bhi kha leta tha (He’d also get smacked a bit). We escaped, but Salman was a little bit of brat,” Arbaaz told the show host.

During the candid conversation, Arbaaz recalled the time when Salim Khan took the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor to a trapeze show at the circus. When they returned, there was a building with a rod. Salman then sneaked out and tried to perform some stunts. However, that resulted in a broken hand. His crazy act then got a nice scolding from the veteran writer (Salim), and then he told him to go to the hospital for treatment.

“He sneakily went there and tried to do some stunts, and he fell and broke his hand. He came to show us his hand, saying, ‘Yeh dekho mere saath kya ho gaya (Look what happened).’ He thought he will get sympathy, but usko do jhappad mile (He got two slaps), and dad said, ‘What was the need to do all this? Are you mad? Take him to a doctor.’”

Later, Salman's youngest brother, Sohail Khan, also remembered Salman’s adventurous personality and his “I can do” attitude. Sharing the anecdotes, Sohail said that their father would often be concerned about Salman because of his fearless character and highly optimistic demeanor.
