Arbaaz Khan: Patna Shuklla is not trying to expose an education scam | Exclusive

Patna Shuklla will be out on OTT tomorrow. The movie is about an education scam, where a girl from college moves court on suspicion of wrong marksheet. The film stars Raveena Tandon in the lead role, as the lawyer who fights the case. Ever since the trailer was unveiled, netizens have been happy and curious to know what kind of scam it will expose. Arbaaz spoke to OTTplay exclusively about the same and said that the movie is not trying to expose an education scam which happened in real life.

We informed Arbaaz of how the story is connecting with people across India but especially from Bihar. They believe this was the case especially from 2017 to 2019. We then asked the actor, who is producing the show, whether the movie is inspired from a real-life incident.

He said, “To some extent, this film is based on some true life incidents, but nothing in particular. You know, so it’s not a film trying to expose any kind of an education scam or something like that. It’s not a film driven with that motive. It’s about a stray incident that has happened or stray incidents that have happened in the scenario around which a story has been woven you know like so and to make it very interesting. We’ve built characters around it and we’ve created the drama around it and all that stuff. But, like I said case it’s a film at the end of the day and you know it has been made for because it’s a very interesting topic and you know it’s relevant and there is a message across but very subtly conveyed.”

“It is a scam but it’s like I said, it could be a stray incident. It’s not something that is a prevalent which is being exposed. There’s a can of worms that is being exposed. This is prevalent and we are the ones who are the flag bearers of crusaders trying to expose that. We are not trying to expose the education system in this country. We are trying to say that, and in a particular scenario, a stray incident has happened and this is the story around it,” the actor further elaborated.
