Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora's son Arhaan, along with their friends and Sohail Khan, discussed the ups and downs of love relationships in the first episode of the new web series Dumb Biryani. Arhaan and his friends discussed their relationship with Salman Khan and other love and life topics in the pilot episode.

Perspective on relationship dynamics

Arbaaz and Sohail discussed the reasons why some relationships fail, as they have both experienced the dissolution of a marriage. According to Sohail, it's critical to end a relationship "amicably" when one partner "loses the excitement," whereas Arbaaz argues that a partnership can't revolve around one person and stresses the significance of selflessness. According to Sohail, every relationship has an "expiry date," and Arbaaz emphasised the significance of "commitment" throughout the conversation.

Sohail continued by saying that when they enter partnerships, they often feel compelled to do so because they fear for the other person's or their own future. Maintain the relationship until individuals are content and it endures; avoid making it sour, for there is an entire world to explore. When one lets themselves have unfavourable feelings for the other person, that's when problems begin. He continued by stating that everything has an expiration date. According to Sohail, one goes out and gets chocolate, medicine, and food. Get out of a relationship amicably when the spark dies. Talking to someone is the greatest thing, and it is reasonable to feel wounded in their ego following a breakup.

Insights on relationships

According to Arbaaz, the most crucial moment to enter a relationship is when one is prepared to give rather than receive. People usually enter relationships with the intention of receiving. They also fail to recognise the value of their own contributions and offerings. There is no use in being involved in a relationship unless people intend to provide something to the other person. If the other person doesn't get anything out of it, they'll just take it in for a while.

Arbaaz warned that people shouldn't put their faith in their spouses to make them happy, but he did say that it's wise to terminate a relationship when dishonesty starts to creep in. Additionally, he emphasised the significance of commitment in relationships and stated that this is the very definition of nikaah. He explained that one should keep their word on paper, promising to look after the person.

According to Arbaaz, talking to the partner as if they were friends increases the likelihood that their relationship will last. He also said that there is an issue if one feels hesitant to confide in their partner for fear of judgement.

They had two boys, Yohaan and Nirvaan, during Sohail's marriage to Seema Sajdeh, which lasted from 1998 until 2022. Before his marriage to Shura Khan, Arbaaz married Malaika Arora from 1998 until 2017.
