Aranyer Prachin Probad: A new song by Silajit Majumder dropped in Jeetu Kamal’s new detective endeavour

Jeetu Kamal is the new sleuth in the block. He is debuting as a detective in sports journalist Dulal Dey’s debut feature film Aranyer Prachin Probad. Glimpses of the mystery were shown in the motion poster, teaser, and trailer. The theme song was released on Sunday. 

Silajit Majumder, who also plays a key character in the film, sang the song Asche Aranya. It is written and composed by Subhadeep Guha. Jeetu plays Aranya Chatterjee, who is Silajit’s relative. The story is set in Ranaghat. Jeetu is a sleuth who is an amateur cricketer as well as a doctor. 

The story delves into the mysterious death of a doctor. Aranya goes to that area. He gets involved with the mystery. How will he unveil the mystery? Silajit plays CID inspector Sudarshan Halder, the brother-in-law of Aranya. He tells the story in the film. 

The film will be released on July 5. Suhotra Mukherjee, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Sayan Ghosh, Loknath Dey, Subhadip Guha, Pratip Mukherjee, and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya are in other roles. Councillor Ananya Banerjee will play a guest role. Shilajit has received appreciation from viewers and critics alike for his performance in Ajogyo. Directed by Kaushik Ganguly, the film also features Prosenjiit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta. Silajit plays Rituparna’s husband.

Soon after the release of the trailer, Dev wished the team the very best. The superstar and the director of the film are long acquaintances. He wrote, “Many wishes to my friend Dulal Dey for his directorial debut.” The trailer came out on June 17.

On the other hand, after his long acting career, Jeetu shot to fame with Anik Dutta’s Aparajito. In the film, he plays film director Aparajito Ray – a character based on Satyajit Ray. Jeetu’s presentation of the character has been hailed by the audience.
