Following the poorly organized Marakkuma Nenjam concert in Chennai, fans of Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman are upset and enraged.

On Sunday, thousands of AR Rahman fans gathered to see the musician's concert, which was held outside the city. Many fans revealed on X that the venue had become overcrowded and that many people were not even permitted to enter the event grounds despite having a valid ticket as they eagerly waited in line to see the music maestro perform. In fact, a few people were hurt in the stampede, women faced molestation and children were lost.

A few people even asked that the music composer apologize for the poor organization, given that attendees paid outrageous prices ranging from Rs 5,000 to 25,000 and more merely to attend. According to the tickets, there was no segregation, and the concert's audio quality was appalling. In their wrath, some even tore their tickets.

Poor Management of AR Rahman's concert angers the audience

A social media user wrote: "People returning after they couldn’t get access to the show. Ladies molested, children’s injured in the stampede, elderly collapsed due to suffocation while @arrahman was still singing with a closed eye shit show and a near death experience for my family #ARRahman @actcevents."

“Very badly organised concert. Waste of money. Energy. Felt a huge sense of betrayal. I was feeling so stressed over good vibes because of so many fights and shit that was going around! Unfair max was No proper sound!," wrote another.

No response from the organizer

Although there has been a significant backlash, neither the concert organizer nor AR Rahman have yet to comment.
