Anyone But You X review- The film is saved by its attractive cast from sinking and might just make it

Anyone But You will be hitting the theatres on December 22, 2023. But it has been creating quite a stir among viewers by promising a tantalizing watch, brimming with sensuality and fun. The trailer had been received well by lovers of rom com but had also been criticized for looking shallow and lacking proper chemistry between the lead pair.

Directed by Will Gluck, the film is based off the renowned Shakesperean play Much Ado About Nothing, which is reflected in the names of our protagonists, Bea and Ben, from Beatrice and Benedict. However, how far the similarities go is for the viewers to piece together.

Anyone But You works on the enemies-to-lovers trope and brings back the excitement people felt while watching predictable actions emotively executed by actors, making them willingly suspend their disbelief to bask in the magic and wish it were real.
