Congratulations and celebrations! Actress Anya Taylor-Joy of ‘The Queen's Gambit’ fame has happily married her longtime boyfriend, Malcolm McRae today. Fairytale glimpses of their lavish Italian wedding have surfaced online.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae are yet to make a public announcement of the joyful development. However, the news outlet Daily Mail has confirmed the development. They even have access to exclusive glimpses of the celebrity couple’s lavish wedding.
As per the pictures shared by the news outlet, Anya Taylor opted for a light brown fairy-like gown for her special day. The front side of the gown shows a bird approaching a flower to suck nectar out of it. The veil is white in colour.
The pair reportedly married at the historic Palazzo Pisani Moretta in the presence of their close friends and family members. Amongst those present for the lavish wedding were celebrities namely Miles Teller, Julia Garner, Cara Delevingne, Nicolas Hoult, and Evan Ross.
After their nuptials concluded, a source told news outlet PEOPLE that “the newlyweds enjoyed a terrace brunch on Sunday at the St Regis, which looks out onto the Grand Canal. Anya Taylor-Joy was a vision."
Since when did the couple know each other?
Anya Taylor-Joy caught Malcolm McRae’s attention for the first time at the premiere of "The Queen's Gambit" in March 2021. Within two days of their initial meeting, the musician crafted an original song for the actress and posted video clips of himself singing it on Instagram.
“I wrote this song for Anya two days after meeting her. It’s called ‘Really Want to See You Again,” he said in an Instagram video.
Actress Anya Taylor-Joy has garnered numerous honours, securing a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Additionally, she has received nominations for a BAFTA Film Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. Taylor-Joy embarked on her acting career by leaving school at the age of 16. She is 27 currently.
