Anweshippin Kandethum Trailer Review – Tovino Thomas is set to impress as a determined cop in this investigation thriller

Anweshippin Kandethum, the highly anticipated cop thriller, is gearing up for its theatrical release on February 9, 2024. Tovino Thomas is playing the lead role in the much-awaited film, which is helmed by Darwin Kuriakose. From the initial posters and the official teaser which was released a couple of weeks back, it was confirmed that the movie is an out-and-out thriller, which revolves around a murder investigation.

Now, leading man Tovino Thomas and the cast and crew members of Anweshippin Kandethum have dropped the much-awaited official trailer of the film on social media. The trailer, which was originally supposed to be released on January 27, 2024, was delayed for a day due to technical reasons.

The highly promising trailer which has a runtime of 1.38 minutes, hints that director Darwin Kuriakose and his team are set to bring a unique police investigation thriller to the theatres. Even though the Anweshippin Kandethum trailer doesn’t give away much, it is evident that the movie revolves around the mysterious murder of a young woman. The four-member investigation team, headed by Tovin Thomas’s character, is on a mission to solve the mystery amid all the hurdles.

However, when the team is denied permission to take anyone into custody the determined leading man decides to take matters into his own hands, with the support of his team. However, from the reactions of Tovino Thomas’s character in the trailer, it is evident that he is someone who has a personal connection with this case or carries unresolved emotional baggage from the past.

The parallels of a romantic angle deepen the intrigue factor of the film. The backdrop of a Kerala small town and its people adds a rawness to the trailer. The striking visuals by Gautham Sankar and the background score composed by Santhosh Narayanan suggest that the movie is going to be a neat theatrical experience.
