Anweshippin Kandethum Box Office Day 4 – Tovino Thomas’ film to touch Rs 9-crore mark

Anweshippin Kandethum, the police investigation thriller which hit the big screens on February 9, 2024, has now emerged as a super hit. Tovino Thomas played the central character in the movie, which is helmed by Darwin Kuriakose. As reported earlier, the cop thriller minted Rs 7.8 crore from the box office, just within the first weekend (3 days) of its release.

Now, when it has been confirmed that Anweshippin Kandethum has also passed the first Monday test with flying colours and is set to touch the Rs 9-crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Anweshippin Kandethum to touch Rs 9-crore mark

As per the recent reports from the trade experts, the Tovino Thomas starrer has made a total collection of over Rs 1.2 crore from the worldwide box office. In that case, it is safe to assume that Anweshippin Kandethum has already touched the Rs 9-crore mark, with its total 4 days collection. So, it is also safe to assume that the police investigation thriller will mostly cross the Rs 10 crore mark, today. The movie also has all the chances to cross the Rs 13-crore mark, within its first week at the theatres.

The revised box office reports which were released recently confirmed that the Darwin Kuriakose directorial has made an average collection of around Rs 2.5 crore from the worldwide box office, on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 at the box office. Even though the collection dipped a little bit on the first Monday as it was a working day, the Tovino Thomas-starrer is still holding strong at the box office.

Tovino Thomas’ cop role in Anweshippin Kandethum

The versatile actor is now winning the hearts of audiences with his portrayal of the central character, SI Anand Narayanan, in Anweshippin Kandethum. The movie has also been receiving praise from viewers for staying away from the age-old cliches of the Malayalam cinema’s cop thrillers. The movie, jointly bankrolled by the banners Yoodle Films and Theatre Of Dreams, is expected to have its OTT release in March 2024, after completing its theatrical run.
