Anushka Sharma once said that she will quit acting after marriage and having babies – video goes VIRAL

Amidst the rumours that Anushka Sharma is most probably going to quit acting after Chakda ‘Xpress release, an old video featuring her has been going viral. In the clip, she is heard saying that she will most probably not be working after getting married and having kids. It is to be noted that there are strong speculations that she and Virat Kohli are expecting their second baby after Vamika.

Where it all started

A report on Hindustan Times suggested that Virat and Anushka are expecting their second baby . The couple, we hear, will make an official announcement on the same soon. They reportedly have been requesting the media to keep the news a secret for a while now. However, after the report, a video of her seemingly pregnant has gone viral.

Anushka to quit acting?

The actress has not spoken on the matter yet. The news spread after the video of her went viral. In this clip, she is heard saying that she would love to get married and after having kids, probably not work again. The video is from her appearance on Simi Garewal’s talk show, India’s Most Desirable. Back then, Anushka was a 23-year-old and had made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

Anushka and her acting comeback

Anushka became mother to Vamika in 2021. She has been parenting her with Virat and had taken a break from acting. The actress was last seen in SRK’s Zero, which released in 2018. She made a cameo appearance in Qala but is now coming back as the lead actress in Chakda ‘Xpress , helmed by Prosit Roy. The movie is based on female cricketer Jhulan Goswami’s life.

Whether Anushka will quit acting in films after making her comeback, continue working as a producer or be a dedicated homemaker, is yet to be confirmed. However, given how she is coming back to acting, it is highly unlikely that she would quit, at least right now.
