Anushka Sharma joins in the celebrations in welcoming Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's baby girl

Anushka Sharma, who became a mother for the second time in February this year, is the latest to send out congratulatory messages for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child together on Sunday, September 8. Through their post, the couple confirmed they were blessed with a baby girl. Here's Anushka's message for them...

Sharing DeepVeer's joint Instagram post, Anushka posted, "Congratulations," with glitter and a pink heart. She is among the latest celebs to congratulate the couple, and she did so not in their comments section but by reposting their post.

Anushka Sharma is herself a second mommy this year

Anushka Sharma gave birth to her second child earlier this year. She and her husband, Virat Kohli, were blessed with a baby boy who they named Akaay. He was born on February 15 in London, away from prying eyes.

Anushka had even managed to keep her pregnancy news hidden till the last moment. Although she was spotted at the airport (rarely), there were only speculations whether she was an expecting mother.

Unlike Anushka, Deepika had announced that she was an expecting mother. She shared the news as soon as it was confirmed, and even announced her due date in the same post. Just a few days before delivering her baby, she released a pregnancy photoshoot with Ranveer. The couple welcomed their baby on Ganesh Chaturthi and headed over to the hospital after seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha after their visit to Mumbai's famous Siddhivinayak temple.

After getting married in 2017, Virushka was blessed with their first child, also a baby girl, and named her Vamika. She was born on January 11, 2021.

On the work front, Anushka, who took a break from acting, will make a comeback with Chakda Xpress. In the film, she plays the role of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

DeepVeer, on the other hand, will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again soon. Ranveer also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Baiju Bawra, Shaktimaan, Don 3 and Takht, among other projects.
