The leading Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is all set to come back to the screens in 2022 after 3 years. She was last seen in the 2018 romantic -comedy film Zero alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. 

According to the sources, the actress has been roped in for three upcoming movies, while one of them oughts to be direct-to-OTT release. The source further revealed that two of the upcoming movies will be big-screen entertainers and one is conceptualized as one of the biggest films to be produced for the digital space in India.

The titles for the forthcoming project will be announced next year.

The actress has been starred in multiple blockbuster Bollywood films such as Aamir Khan starrer PK, Sultan that has Salman Khan in the lead role, Sanju that ensembles a stellar star cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, and her debut movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh.

While the actress wasn’t seen in front of the camera after Zero, Anushka has not been away from the entertainment industry. After producing her three finest films- NH10, Phillauri and Pari, the actress bankrolled the two biggest digital releases of 2020 including the hit crime-drama web series Paatal Lok and the horror-drama film Bulbbul, which bagged the Filmfare awards to Tripti Dimri and Rahul Bose as Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor respectively.

The actor-producer also has two highly anticipated projects in her kitty as a producer including Mai that has Sakshi Tanwar, Vivek Mushran, Prashant Narayanan in leas roles and Qala, which is currently being filmed and has Anvita Dutt as the writer and director and also stars Tripti Dimri, Babil I Khan in his debut film.
