Anushka Kaushik explores Bhojpuri for Arbaaz Khan's production Patna Shukla, here's all you need to know!

Anushka Kaushik is having her hands full this year with a flurry of releases while also shooting, prepping for her future projects. After making a mark across web originals like Ghar Waapsi, Thar and Crash Course in 2022, Anushka Kaushik is keen to sustain her good momentum. The actress, who recently wrapped up shooting for Tigmanshu Dhulia's web show, claims to be in an interesting phase in her career currently. After Garmi, she's moving onto Arbaaz Khan's production Patna Shukla.

The budding performer is reportedly having a whale of a time exploring her character in Patna Shukla. The social drama revolving around an education scam stars Raveena Tandon in the lead and Anushka plays a key role in the project. To essay her role to perfection, the actress has even interacted with a few students from select regions of the country who bore the brunt of this scam. Anushka discussed their several challenges and their ability to deal with such an issue in her interactions.

In her attempt to seek inspiration for her role in Patna Shukla, Anushka even learnt Bhojpuri, given her character is based out of Patna. Sharing her excitement about it, Anushka adds, “It's important for an actor to stay true to the cultural roots of a character, especially when they come from a place they don't know much about. One can't fake the accent and it's easy for audiences to spot it. Additionally, you also need to know the part's psyche and mindset when she's coming from a different class."

Featuring Raveena Tandon, Anushka Kaushik, Satish Kaushik, Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles, Patna Shukla is expected to go on the floors by the end of this year. Raveena Tandon was also part of two other major projects this - KGF2 and Aranyak, both of which won her immense critical acclaim.
