Anurag Kashyap regrets not working with Sushant Singh Rajput even after many requests

Sushant Singh Rajput's death was a massive shock to the world, and even after 3 years he is making the headlines and being the talk of the tinsel town. Recently, Anurag Kashyap shared his thoughts on the late actor and also unveiled his regret for not working with him, even after SSR's request to collaborate three weeks before his demise.

In 2020, the Sacred Games filmmaker said in an interview that working with Abhay Deol in 2009 for Dev D was painfully difficult for him, while in a recent interview for the promotions of Trial By Fire, the actor called Kashyap a liar and toxic. 

Now in a recent interview with Showsha, Kashyap addressed his differences with Deol as well as Rajput and mentioned that it took him a good 1.5 years to realize his fault and how he used to say or react out of anger. "I was so reactive; I would say things. I would say things out of anger, out of reaction, to things I felt perturbed by," the filmmaker shared. He also regrets saying his thoughts and experience with Deol out in public.

Meanwhile, talking about Rajput, Kashyap said that he felt so bad on the day the unfortunate incident happened. He further spoke his heart and shared to the news portal, "Three weeks prior to that somebody was trying to reach out because he wanted to talk, and I was like, ‘No, he ghosted me, I don’t want to talk’. You get pangs of guilt. So, I tried to reach out to Abhay and I apologised to him, because somebody had told me that he was upset about me speaking publicly about him."

Kashyap is currently gearing up as an actor to work in the upcoming Tamil film, One 2 One.
