Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is excited that his latest film, Kennedy, has been receiving a lot of appreciation from global audiences. The film was first screened at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and was most recently screened at the ongoing Sydney Film Festival.
Sharing his gratitude for a positive response to his film, Anurag said, "I am absolutely delighted to see the audience response to Kennedy at the prestigious Sydney Film Festival. The film is produced by Zee Studios and Good Bad Films. It is interesting to note that Anurag joined the Sydney Film Festival as the head of the jury for the main competition section this year. The filmmaker will be joined by actor Mia Wasikowska (Australia), film curator and journalist Dorothee Wenne (Germany), writer and director Larissa Behrendt (Australia), and filmmaker Visakesa Chandrasekaran (Australia/Sri Lanka).
Kennedy is a noir cop drama that stars Rahul Bhatt, Sunny Leone, Megha Burman, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Mohit Takalkar.
