The policemen come and tell Anuj and Anupamaa to identify a girl (whether she was Paakhi) who has met with a tragic accident

The day starts off with an extremely tensed up Anupamaa, who is leaving no stone unturned to show that she has been a dutiful mother and also a hands-on mother and that it is very easy for anyone to point out fingers at the mother. She adds that, just like the mother always gets held responsible for any issues, the father, too, has an important role to play. The father too should be equally responsible for any discrepancies in the upbringing of the child. Anupamaa gets consoled by her husband Anuj, who is just not in a position to see his dear wife in any kind of tension.
Vanraj Shah halucinates about Paakhi's return
Meanwhile, the situation is more or less the same with Vanraj Shah. He leans on his father (Babuji) and expresses his deepest concerns and insecurities and fears about his dearest daughter Paakhi having gone missing. After hearing a few words of consolation from Babuji, Vanraj Shah feels a but better. Amidst all this, Vanraj Shah suddenly ‘sees’ Paakhi in front of his eyes. Seeing his pitiable condition, everyone in the Shah House feels really sorry for him. He then gets hugged by Toshu and Samar. Only then, Vanraj Shah realises that he had been hallucinating about Paakhi, which was just not the reality.
Anupamaa halucinates about Paakhi's return
On the other hand, Anupamaa ‘finds’ Paakhi lying in her lap in an extremely cuddled up position. Seeing her in front of her eyes, Anupamaa becomes extremely emotional. In no time, even Paakhi becomes emotional and starts crying bitterly in front of Anupamaa. Then, gradually, Paakhi makes Anupama lie on her laps as she helps her to sleep. But, suddenly, when Anupamaa gets up, she finds out that Paakhi is just not there with her. That’s when she realises that she was hallucinating about Paakhi all this while. Back home, Samar recalls all the good memories of Paakhi and promises not to fight with her from now on.
On the other hand, seeing Toshu crying remembering Paakhi, Kinjal comes and consoles him. Amidst all this, the policemen come to Kapadia House and tell Anuj and Anupamaa that they have found a girl in a very bad condition and that she is admitted in the hospital. The policeman tells Anuj and Anupamaa to hurry up as the girl is battling for her life. The policeman tells them to come and identify the girl whether she was Paakhi! Hearing this, Anupamaa breaks down very badly!
