Anupamaa Update: Maaya curses death for Anupamaa, the latter’s mother slaps Maaya

The day starts of with Anupamaa telling Anuj to give more details about the papers that Maaya had shown. Hearing which, Maaya flares up like nobody’s business. Maaya shows Anuj’s ticket to the USA and questions him about why did he hide from her. She also very angrily tells Anupamaa that, it’s only because of her that Anuj is madly in love with her, which is resulting in him going far away from her (Maaya).

Unaware of the whole situation, Anupamaa is totally clueless about root cause behind the sudden flaring up of Maaya. She then catches hold of Anuj’s collar and questions him with awkward questions. Hearing all of this, the otherwise calm and cool Anuj loses his cool in a big way. He then, shouts at Maaya and tells her that, if she was that smart enough to dig out his airplane ticket to the USA, then, she should have also seen the date on the ticket.

He explains that the date on the ticket is after one month of Anupamaa’s departure. He also clarifies to Maaya that, contrary to what she is thinking, he was going to the USA for his business trip. Anuj also shouts at Maaya by saying that, the only relation between him and her is that, she is his child’s (chhoti Anu) biological mother and noting else.

Maaya holds Anupamaa’s wrist extremely tight that it starts hurting her. Seeing her painful expression, Anuj comes in between and releases her hand from Anupamaa’s wrist and comes as her protector. Seeing all this, Maaya curses Anupamaa and wishes death for her. Hearing this, not just Anuj, but also Anupamaa’s mother, her brother and even Anuj Kapadia goes into a shock. Wasting no time further, Anupamaa’s mother steps forward and slaps Maaya and warns her about dire consequences if she continues her agenda against her daughter Anupamaa.

Meanwhile, everyone is tensed up at the Shah House about Anupamaa’s well-being. Kinjal, then, tells everyone that, she spoke to chhoti Anu, who told her about the uncalled-for proceedings at the Kapadia House. Anupamaa's mother starts scolding Anuj for having given such an unwanted send-off for Anupamaa. Hearing all that, Anuj profusesly asks for forgiveness from Anupamaa's mother.
