Will Anupamaa choose her dreams over her responsibilities is what remains to be seen

The day starts with Anupamaa standing with total nervousness in front of Guru Malti Devi, with the thought of what she should be performing in her dance, which has a story to it. Just as when the 5 –minute pressure seems to be mounting on her, Guru Maa Malti Devi’s disciple asks Guru Maa Malti Devi whether it's just to give Anupamaa merely 5 minutes to prepare a dance with a story.
That’s when Guru Malti Devi says that 5 minutes may be less for the world, but it's just not less for a woman. She explains to Nakul that there is nothing that a woman cannot do in 5 minutes. Right from singing lullabies to her children to waking up the Gods in the morning through her ‘aarti’, be it her husband's breakfast or her children's tiffin, a woman makes tea 5 times in those 5 minutes and also 5 times an opinion in those 5 minutes. She, then, asks Nakul, in such a scenario, why cannot Anupamaa perform!
Meanwhile, when an extremely tensed up Anupamaa closes her eyes to pray to Lord Krishna to help her in choosing the topic of her dance recital, all of her life’s events start flashing in front of her eyes. And when Guru Maa Malti Devi asks Anupamaa if she is ready, the latter says that she is totally ready.
Thereafter, starts Anupamaa’s dance recital alongwith Bhairavi, the young daughter of the vegetable vendor. Both of them dance to the sentimental track of ‘Tujhe sab hai pata meri Maa’. With every passing second, Anupamaa and the young girl impresses Guru Maa Malti Devi. But, to everyone’s shock, Guru Malti Devi tells Anupamaa to stop her dance! This shocks Anupamaa and Bhairavi totally as they are totally clueless about this sudden behavior of Guru Maa Malti Devi.
After a few minutes, Guru Maa Malti Devi ends the suspense and tells Anupamaa that she is selected and that she can also accompany Bhairavi along with her to USA. After hearing that she is selected, Anupamaa’s joys knows no bounds and is at a total loss of words to express her happiness. Amidst her limitless excitement, Guru Maa Malti Devi tells Anupamaa that, her coming to USA comes with a tag attached. And the condition that Guru Maa Malti Devi tells Anupamaa is that, in the coming three years, she should be totally dedicating herself to Gurukul and should be devoid of any emotional baggage. She also underlined the condition that, before signing the contract papers, she should consult her husband and family.
In the end, Guru Maa Malti Devi asks Anupamaa whether she will be able to sacrifice everything for Gurukul for a span of three years. This really puts Anupamaa in a dilemma of sorts. Amidst this conversation, Bhairavi tells Anupamaa that there is an incoming call from ‘Baa’. Seeing that and then, seeing Guru Maa Malti Devi, Anupamaa tells the latter that, till date, she had always chosen responsibilities over her dreams. But, this time round, she would want to change it forever. That’s why, this time, she decides to choose her dreams over her responsibilities.
SPOILER ALERT: The upcoming episode will see Anupamaa telling the good news to her mother and brother Bhavesh about her going to the USA to realize her long cherished dreams. On the other hand, Samar tells everyone that Anuj will be coming for his marriage along with Maaya and chhoti Anu.
