Anupamaa: Sudhanshu Pandey leaves cryptic message for Paras Kalnawat post his exit, says ‘may not be best thing but stick to it’

Sudhanshu Pandey has expressed shock at his Anupamaa co-star Paras Kalnawat’s exit from the show. The actor left a cryptic message for Paras as he said that it may not be the best thing. However, Sudhanshu advised his co-star to stick to the path he has chosen.

“Everybody has their own sensibilities and understanding of doing things. Later, when we've realised that you know it may not have been the best thing that you have done. But once you've made a choice, you've got to stick to it, that's how it is right now,” the actor told Pinkvilla in an interview.

A shocked Sudhanshu asked Paras ‘how come ya’ since the two were on Anupamaa sets since day one. The actor said that he would miss Paras dearly because of the mischief he did on the sets. He called the incident ‘unfortunate.’

On July 26, Paras was thrown out of Anupamaa for ‘breach of contract.’ Producer Rajan Shahi confirmed the same through a media statement.

After the statement, Paras told ETimes that he had already contacted the makers and told them that he is unhappy with where his character was going. He was turning into ‘just a family member standing in the background.’

Feeling like his words were falling on deaf and having an ‘exciting’ opportunity like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa at hand anyway, the actor chose the latter. Thus, he was out of Anupamaa.

This news comes just some days into the major speculation that the lead actor Gaurav Khanna might also be quitting Anupamaa. While his role was being cut short, his character Anuj’s photo frame also fell down, hinting at his upcoming death (if the TV trend is anything to go by).

Fans are now scared that after Gaurav and Paras’ exit, Sudhanshu, who currently plays the second lead of Anupama’s ex-husband Vanraj, might also be leaving the show soon. While he has not hinted about the same so far, his exit won’t come as a surprise, especially after news about Gaurav and Paras’ exit from Rupali Ganguly’s show.
