Anupamaa: Paritosh crashes the Navratri festivities

Anupamaa has had its fair share of moments of Baa’s villainy, as she put Anupama through difficult times when the latter was still living with the Shahs. However, after Anupama finally broke free of the Shahs, Baa seems to have lost a lot of her power over her former daughter in law. But it did not mean that everything was all rosy between the two. The latest episode of the show saw a rare moment where Baa showered praise on Anupama. However, Barkha’s meddling quickly turned the rare moment of love between the two into chaos.

As Baa referred to Anupamaa as her daughter, the women in the colony, whom Barkha had talked to about the problems in the Shah house, quickly called out Baa’s hypocrisy. They also publicly revealed that Paritosh and Kinjal were going to get a divorce.

As a war of words broke out between the neighbours and the Shahs, Anupama intervened and spoke of how even the most close knit of families can have arguments between them. She also declared that she can fight her battles on her own. The arguments are soon forgotten as everyone engages in festivities yet again.

Anupama gives a fantastic Garba performance. Paritosh gatecrashes the festivities despite being prohibited from doing so. He tries to dance with Kinjal and gets an earful from Vanraj and Anupama. The eldest Shah son decides to do whatever it takes to get his hands on his daughter. Adhik steals away Pakhi and asks to kiss her.

Things take a turn in the merriment when everyone realises that Pari has gone missing. When Anupama investigates, she sees a note inside the baby’s crib. The upcoming episode will see the Shahs frantically try to locate the young girl, who they believe has been kidnapped by Paritosh.
