Anupamaa: Pakhi refuses Baa’s request to stay at the Shah house

Anupamaa and Anuj are making preparations for Adhik and Pakhi’s wedding. At the Shah house, Paritosh is delighted to see his daughter after so long. He thanks Kinjal for forgetting the past and coming to the house for Pakhi’s wedding, at which Kinjal corrects him, saying that she has not forgotten anything and is simply here for the family’s sake. Paritosh hopes that things will get better between them when Kinjal reveals that she will go back to her mothers after the wedding.

Baa hears this, and plans to make sure that Kinjal does not go back. Adhik tells Anuj and Anupama that Pakhi wants a ‘Glitz and glam’ theme for the sangeet, which would require a huge amount for arranging the needed clothes, to which Anuj agrees.

Anupama talks about how it is every mother’s wish to see her daughter after marriage. When Anuj says that they can stay there for as long as they want, Anupama reveals her fear that the young couple might take the house and Anuj’s hospitality for granted.

When preparing for the wedding, Baa and Kavya delightfully taunt and tease each other as they decide on invitations. Anupama gets emotional during the preparations. Vanraj refuses to participate in the preparations, and the family ask Anupama to convince him. Baa, Kavya and Anupama trick Vanraj into selecting an invitation sample.

Everyone at the Kapadia house is having fun picking costumes for the sangeet. Anuj advises Barkha to try and participate.

Kavya, Baa and Anupama are shocked to see that Vanraj has cut his name and written Anuj’s name in its stead. Pakhi starts to make extravagant requests from Anuj for the wedding shoots. Anupama tells Pakhi that Baa wants Pakhi to stay at the Shah house till the wedding. When Pakhi refuses, Anupama gives her a good earful and tells her daughter that it is not a request.
