Anupamaa: Kinjal FINALLY fights back, shocks the Shahs

The last few episodes of Anupamaa saw Kinjal go through one of the most difficult times of her life. Reeling from Paritosh’s betrayal and having to take care of her baby, Kinjal finds herself in two minds about what to do. Although she did give in to the Shah’s excessive guilt tripping and decide to stay with them, she finds herself being suffocated by the family’s constant attempts to make her feel at home. The last straw for the young woman came when Paritosh blatantly disregarded the boundaries she had set and tried to get close to her.

Meanwhile, Anupamaa was seen enjoying a rare moment of respite, sharing laughs and delightful moments with Anuj and Choti Anu. Ironically, as Anuj speaks about how he was content with his little world of family, Anupama gets a call from a frantic Kinjal.

When Anupamaa makes her way to the Shah house, she witnesses Kinjal lashing out on Paritosh, and accusing the Shahs of not giving her the space she needed to heal. The young woman shocks everyone when she declares that she has decided to divorce Paritosh.

No amount of emotional blackmail or excessive begging from Paritosh seems to shake Kinjal, who remains resolute in her decision. She gives Paritosh a piece of her mind, and declares that, unlike Anupama, Kinjal would not let her husband off the hook so easily. When she says that she would ask for a divorce on the grounds of infidelity and threatens to drag Paritosh into court, the latter’s true colours come out.

But despite Baa and Paritosh trying to make a scene, Bapuji and Rakhi decide to support Kinjal in her decision. Kinjal looks to Anupama for strength, and the latter guarantees that she will be with her daughter in law every step of the way.
