Anupamaa: Anupama and Dimple launch a protest in front of the Mehta house

Vijyendra Mehta calls up the police to lodge a complaint against Anupama for threatening him and his son. The police ask him to come to the police station in person, and the police assure Anupama that she is not in trouble. The latter sets the next step of her plan in motion.

Anupama brings Dimple to the Mehta residence. The young woman stands in front of the house and narrates her story for the world to hear, and Samar records the whole thing. A number of people gather around to hear Dimple’s story, as she names her attacker- Manan Mehta. Anupama addresses the person via the video and asks the person to surrender to the police by the next morning.

News reporters also arrive at the scene. When Manan comes out of the house, Dimple points to her attacker. Vijyendra arrives trying to protect his son, as Anupama repeats her ultimatum. Kavya and Kinjal live stream the whole thing, and Samar uploads the video.

Back at the Shah house, Vanraj and Baa see the video. When Kavya and Kinjal return, Vanraj becomes furious with them and prohibits them from going out of the house. Vanraj remarks that Vijyendra Mehta has financial and political power to back him, and that the family might have to leave town if this goes on. Pakhi feels embarrassed after seeing what Anupama is doing.

The neighbours of the Mehtas tell Anupama and Dimple that Vijyendra and Manan are abusive towards the women in the house as well, Manan’s mother and sister. Anuj and Choti Anu arrive to give strength to Anupama.

As Anupama gives a fiery speech about how society should not stand with attackers, she notices that the Mehta house is being decorated. After realising that the Mehtas’ daughter is getting married, Anupama decides to back down so that the young woman’s wedding does not get broken.

Just then the Mehtas’ daughter, Piya, sends Anupama a note detailing that she is with Dimple in her fight for justice and that Vijyendra is trying to get Piya married to a bad man against her will. Anupama decides to go on with the protest.
