Anupamaa 9th June Update: Kumar Sanu ups the excitement of Samar and Dimpy’s wedding, Guru Maa Malti Devi senses forthcoming roadblock

The day starts off with a conversation between Anupamaa and Anuj, where the former thanks the latter for the compliments. That’s when Anuj tells Anupmaa that he found a bit strange and odd that, even though he had met Guru Maa Malti Devi for the first time, still, she asked him, “Toh tum ho who Anuj!”. (That means, you are THAT Anuj). To this, even Anupamaa says that, even she did not understand the reason for Guru Maa Malti Devi’s sudden expression. He also tells Anupamaa that, even though she will fly to America to realise her dreams, there is also one more fact that, he will surely miss her.

When Baa comes in search of Babuji, Vanraj tells her that, Babuji has gone to attend to his friend who had got a sudden heart attack. On the other hand, when she sees Anupamaa taking care and being a good host to Guru Maa Malti Devi, Baa complains to her daughter that, Anupamaa should not ‘stick’ to Guru Maa Malti Devi. Baa also reasons the same by stating that, Guru Maa Malti Devi did not give an opportunity of a lifetime to Anupamaa by offering her to come to America, father, she has only trapped Anupamaa for a lifetime, so that she just cannot leave her!

That’s when Baa also happens to see Vanraj taking utmost care of his pregnant wife Kaavya. Seeing that, she starts feeling a bit odd and strange. Meanwhile, Kaavya, after seeing Vanraj’s emotions and caring nature towards her, tells him not to take care of her so much. That’s when, Vanraj tells Kaavya that, whatever he is doing for her presently, he is doing it with all his heart and not just to basically compensate for anything (of the past). He also adds that, the child just not does not belong to her alone, but, the child and the child’s responsibility is not just merely hers, but, theirs.

Seeing Guru Maa Malti Devi alone, Nakul, with a frown on his face asks her the reason for choosing Anupamaa as her successor in the USA and not him, considering that, she has just newly joined and that he has been with her since childhood and that he also knows her likes and dislikes like no one else does. To which, Guru Maa Malti Devi tells him that, she wanted someone who can multi-task, has a proper co-ordination between the mind and the heart. And she saw all of these qualities in Anupamaa, based on which she had taken the decision about Anupamaa to be her successor. Hearing that, Nakul does not feel too good about it.

Amidst all this, Anuj and Ankush introduce the superstar singer Kumar Sanu in order to brighten up the wedding function of Samar and Dimpy.

SPOILER ALERT: Guru Maa Malti Devi tells Anupamaa not to back out of the upcoming concert at any cost. She also warns her about the possibility of Anuj being her roadblock in the way of her progress.
