Anupamaa 29th May 2023 Update: Despite Maaya’s growing obsession with Anuj, Anupamaa and Anuj start coming closer to each other

The day starts off with Anupamaa walking on a deserted road in the middle of the night, recalling all the conversation which happened between her and her husband Anuj Kapadia, before they left for each other’s respective residence. Anuj, on the other hand, starts living in guilt, stating that, the love that had for Anupamaa since the last 26 years, he wasn’t able to take care of it in mere 26 months. Both of them- Anuj and Anupamaa start recalling their respective past and feel guilty about the whole proceedings. Anyuj, then, tells Anupmaa that, just like they started off as friends before becoming lovers and then, husband and wife, he tells her to become friends again with him.

Meanwhile, seeing his father Vanraj Shah remaining awake the full night and walking restlessly, his son Toshu comes upto him and tells him the take rest. He also tells him that, he knows the reason for his restlessness- his mother Anupamaa. Hearing that, Vanraj tells his son Toshu that, since Anupamaa will be going to USA in few months, he wants to spend as much time as possible with her.

Meanwhile, Maaya goes to meet Barkhaa and becomes extremely hyper because she is unaware of Anuj and Anupamaa’s whereabouts. She suspects that, both, Anuj and Anupamaa are with each other, at the pretext of office work and Gurukul respectively. Despite her level best to stop her from going, Maaya, in a fit of anger rushes to go to Shah House shouting for Anuj on top of her voice.

And when everyone at the Shah House hears Maaya’s voice, they all rush out to see what happened. Thereafter ensues a verbal tiff between Maaya and Baa. Unable to find (read ‘trace out’) Anuj at Shah House, Maaya loses her cool and becomes extremely hyper without any signs of stopping. Seeing her madness and obsession for Anuj and her blaming Anupamaa for no reason, Vanraj loses his cool and tells Maaya to get out of the house.
