Anupama to get her first big surprise from Anuj after their wedding, reveals Gaurav Khanna

Anupama and Anuj’s wedding has become the most-discussed topic among Anupamaa fans. Gaurav Khanna, who plays the role of Anuj on the show, has revealed that there is going to be more. While talking to India Forums, he said that Anuj is going to give Anupama her first surprise after their wedding.

Gaurav called Anupamaa a progressive show and said that it caters to the newer generation who will become society someday. He added that the show expresses change and doesn’t take sides.

The actor recalled how the makers build up to the MAan wedding for a week and then, the event actually took place. It is to be noted that #MaAnKiShaadi became a trending topic on Twitter after the wedding for quite some time.

Gaurav is also excited that the fans have loved the character ‘beautifully’ and pushed him to where he is. He spoke about the Thursday and Friday numbers, while talking about how Anupamaa is among the TV shows with the most TRPs.

Anupamaa is an Indian TV show about a modern woman and bride. She was previously married to Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey) but after realizing his toxicity, she chose a different path for herself.

Anupama, played by Rupali Ganguly, finally married her childhood friend Anuj. He was in love with her since 26 years. Anuj wanted to propose to Anupama back then but she was getting married to Vanraj. Anuj always stayed her friend and now, years later, they found love in each other and tied the knot.
