Anupama - Namaste America May 6, 2022 written update: The Shahs move back home, Anuj lands in Ahmedabad

Anupama asks Vanraj whether the night they spent was also a part of the latter’s plan to stop her US trip. She talks about how being a mother can be a jail of sorts to a woman, and says to Vanraj that although she is not complaining of getting her dreams broken, she will also not forget anything. Vanraj leaves as Anupama breaks down.

Six months later, the Shahs have moved into their newly renovated home and celebrations are on in full swing. Leela says that it was a good thing that Anupama gave up her dreams, and the latter asks Leela not to remind her of her broken dreams. Moti Baa and Leela also argue over this, and Moti Baa says that one day Anupama’s dreams will come true.

Elsewhere, Anuj comes back from the US and reaches Ahmedabad. He makes his way to see Anupama.

Vanraj gets a call from his work, confirming his US trip. When he tells Anupama that he must leave in two months, she tells him that the baby will arrive by then and she will need Vanraj by her side. Vanraj gets angry with Anupama, saying that she does not care for his dreams.

When Anupama talks of the sacrifices she made for him, Vanraj tells her he too has made compromises, recalling Ritika’s visit. Anupama takes solace in the fact that being a mother is her greatest strength, and vows to fulfill her dreams one day.

Anuj arrives at the Shahs’ residence just as Vanraj leaves. Anuj hesitates to go in, as he knows the Shahs are very traditional. But in the end he decides not to leave without seeing Anupama once.

Vanraj hails a cab to go to the office and ends up sharing a ride with Kavya. He gets a text from Ritika asking to give their relationship another chance, and he blocks her. Kavya strikes up a conversation with him.

Anuj sees Anupama and tears up. He decides not to meet her, but promises that he will meet her one of these days.
