Ante Sundaraniki OTT release date: When and where to watch the Nani, Nazriya Fahadh starrer directed by Vivek Athreya

Ante Sundaraniki, headlined by Nani and Nazriya Fahadh, is one of the finest romantic comedies that Telugu cinema has produced in a long time. Written and directed by Vivek Athreya, the film was bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film which hit screens across the globe on June 10. Now, it's official that Ante Sundaraniki will have its OTT premiere on July 8.

The film revolves around Sundar Prasad, a youngster hailing from a conservative Brahmin family, whose superstitions and dogmas come in the way of his ambitions. Leela Thomas, his childhood sweetheart and love interest, is a pampered, daddy’s girl and an aspirant photographer trying to create an identity for herself. They hatch a plot to earn a nod from their parents for their marriage but land in a deeper mess that they struggle to come out of. Is there a happy ending in store?

The Nani, Nazriya starrer released in theatres simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam versions as well. The supporting cast includes Rohini, Naresh, Nadhiya, Alagan Perumal, Rahul Ramakrishna, Harshavardhan, Anupama Parameswaran (in a special appearance), and Aruna Bhikshu among others. Cinematographed by Niketh Bommi, the film was edited by Ravi Teja Girijala. Latha Naidu was the production designer and Vivek Sagar had composed the music.

Despite receiving glowing reviews from critics, the film is surprisingly underperforming at the box office. Ante Sundaraniki has a run-time nearing three hours. The light-hearted entertainer marked the Telugu debut of Nazriya Fahadh. Nani's earlier film, Shyam Singha Roy, the reincarnation drama was critically acclaimed and commercially successful as well and is streaming on Netflix too.
