Ante Sundaraniki: Nani unveils first glimpse of Nazriya Fahadh’s character in film

As promised, the makers of Ante Sundaraniki have unveiled Nazriya Fahadh’s character in the Nani-led film. In the upcoming film, the actress essays the role of a photographer, named Leela Thomas.

Nani took to his official social media handles today to introduce Nazriya’s character in a new poster. The poster features the actress standing against a colourful sketched background that features ocean waves and palm trees. The character is seen wearing a blue ensemble with a pondering look on her face. She is also seen holding a camera. A short clip featuring the character was also unveiled, in which Nazriya can be heard reciting a prayer. In his post, Nani referred to the character as the ‘heart’ of the film.

The upcoming film marks Nazriya’s debut in Telugu cinema. Nani’s character from the film was unveiled last month. Named Kasthuri Poorna Venkata Sesha Sai Pawana Rama Sundara Prasad, Nani’s character is a young man from an orthodox Brahmin family.

In addition to Nani and Nazriya, the film also features Nadhiya, Harshavardhan, Rahul Ramakrishna and Suhas, among others. Ante Sundaraniki is written and directed by Vivek Athreya, popular for helming films such as Mental Madhilo (2017) and Brochevarevarura (2019). Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar have produced the upcoming film under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. Vivek Sagar has composed the music for the movie. The film has Niketh Bommi as its cinematographer and Raviteja Girijala as its editor .

Meanwhile, Nazriya’s last starring role was in the 2020 film Trance, in which she shared the screen with her husband and fellow actor, Fahadh Faasil.

Ante Sundaraniki will be released in theatres on June 10, 2022.
