The grand trailer launch of Salim-Javed's docuseries Angry Young Men was held in Mumbai. Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar are known to have written many hit Bollywood films like Sholay, Zanjeer, Deewar, and many others. Salman Khan's nephew Ayaan Agnihotri was among many attendees from the Khan family at the event. In a recent interview with News18, Agnihotri praised Salim-Javed's work and called them 'revolutionaries'.
Speaking with the news publication, Ayaan (son of Alvira Agnihotri) said Angry Young Men captures a side of Salim-Javed in their prime years, which today's youth isn't aware of. He believes the school and college students don't know of the duo being legends because of their work.
Highlighting the impact Salim-Javed left with their writing, Ayaan added, "They were revolutionaries. They unsettled the industry and while everybody was upset about it, they finally accepted it because that’s the kind of vigour and ambition these men came in with. They were hungry and so good and they made sure that they’re consistently good."
