Anni Manchi Sakunamule: I am jealous of not being a part of the film, says Nani

Anni Manchi Sakunamule is all set to release on the 18th of this month. The promos and songs have caught on quite well with the public and as the film is being produced by the makers of Mahanati and Sita Ramam, there is a solid buzz for the film which has been directed by Nandini Reddy.

Well, the pre-release event of the film was held yesterday night in Hyderabad and NTR was supposed to attend it. But as he canceled at the last minute, the makers invited Nani and Dulquer Salmaan as the chief guests. Nani, in particular, spoke highly about the film and drew the attention of one and all.

Nani had done a film called Ala Modalaindi with Nandini Reddy which was a big hit at the box office. So, when asked about Anni Manchi Sakunamule, Nani says "I am jealous for not being able to do this film as it perfectly falls in my sensibilities and I am confident that Nandini would have made the film with beautiful emotions.

Anni Manchi Sakunamule has Santosh Soban and Malavika Nair as the main leads. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music for this film which is a family drama. The film is drawing comparisons with the Hindi film Kapoor and Sons but the makers say there is no comparison between both the films except from being shot at hill stations.
