Annapoorani: New poster of Nayanthara features her in a happy mode, first single to be out in the evening

It's Lady Superstar Nayanthara's birthday today and the team of her upcoming film Annapoorani dropped a brand new poster on the special occasion. In the poster, the actress is seen sitting on the footsteps near a temple and smiling happily. The actress also looks radiant in her ethnic avatar. The makers also announced that the first single from the film will be out today at 6 pm.

Annapoorani to be released on December 1
Annapoorani marks Nayanthara's 75th project and is inspired by the Goddess of Food. The team had recently dropped a glimpse of the film, which is set in Srirangam, Trichy.

Going by the video, it looks like Nayanthara hails from an orthodox family and her mother is seen performing a pooja. In the meantime, Nayanthara is seen reading her academic book in her room. A closer look and the actress is seen going through a recipe book and reading the recipe of a biriyani. The actres will be seen as a foodie in the film.

An ensemble star cast and crew
Nilesh Krishnaa is the director of Annapoorani and the film marks the reunion of Jai and Nayanthara after a long hiatus. The last time they worked together in a film was in Atlee's Raja Rani (2013). Raja Rani, which also starred Arya and Nazriya, went on to become a massive hit at the box office.

The star cast comprises Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Kumari Sachu, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Karthik Kumar and Suresh Chakaravarthy. Music for the film is by Thaman. While the cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan, editing is by Praveen Antony. Zee Studios, Trident Arts and Naad SStudios have bankrolled the film.

Mannangatti Since 1960 and Test in the pipeline

The actress will also be seen in Sashikanth's Test, in which she teams up with Madhavan and Siddharth. The team dropped the first-look poster of Nayan on the occasion of her birthday. Nayanthara is also working on Mannangatti Since 1960, which is helmed by YouTuber Dude Vicky.
