The long awaited first look poster of Rajinikanth’s Annaatthe has dropped. The poster for the action-drama was released by the makers of the movie through social media. Directed by Siva, the movie already has a huge hype in the industry.
The poster features the superstar sporting his trademark smile while wearing black shades. Rajinikanth is seen in a traditional outfit, with white shirt and a white dhoti and the background of the poster shows a celebration happening in what looks to be a religious festival.
The poster has increased the excitement of the fans, who have already started to dream of a movie that will move along the lines of some of the actor's previous classics such as Padayappa and Arunachalam. Annaatthe is touted to be a family action-drama, and will reportedly have the actor pull off some impressive action sequences.
Co-written and directed by Siva, the movie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Siva is a big director in the industry, with movies such as Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Vishwasam, all starring Ajith Kumar under his belt. The prospect of Siva directing a movie with Rajinikanth made it bigger for fans.
The movie also boasts an ensemble cast, with some big names involved in the mix. Apart from Rajinikanth, the movie also features Meena, Khushbu, Nayantara, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Bala and Soori.
The makers of Annaatthe will also release a motion poster for the movie later today at 6 PM. The film is set to release in theatres on November 4, 2021.
