Ankita Lokhande had been busy meeting her co-contestants after Bigg Boss 17 ended. The actress gave a series of interviews in which she spoke about her life after BB 17, fights that happened on the reality show, and more. In one of her media interactions, Ankita opened up about her casting couch experience. The actress revealed she was asked to "compromise" when she was just 19-years-old and wanted to become a heroine.

Speaking with Hautterfly, Ankita Lokhande revealed that she faced the casting couch when she auditioned for a South Indian film. After the audition, she was called to sign the project. When the actress went to the meeting, she was asked to wait along with her coordinator. That is when Ankita was told, "You have to compromise."
The actress added that she played smart and asked what she was required to do. "Then they told me, 'Aapko producer ke saath sona padega (You will have to sleep with the producer)'," revealed Ankita.
The next thing Ankita did was tell the other person that the producer doesn't need talent but a "girl to sleep with it," but she was not the one. Later, Lokhande simply walked off.

Ankita Lokhande has been married to businessman Vicky Jain for over two years now. The couple exchanged wedding vows with each other on December 14, 2021. They celebrated their second wedding anniversary on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 17.

Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande will next be seen in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. The actress will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film, which has been directed by Randeep Hooda. The movie has been co-written by Utkarsh and Naithani. Apart from Randeep and Ankita, the star cast of Swatantrya Veer Savarkar includes Apinderdeep Singh. It will be released on the big screen on March 22, 2024.
