Anirban Bhattacharya's Mandaar: Srijit Mukherji, Anjan Dutt, other Bengali filmmakers give a glimpse of the trailer

Bengali actor Anirban Bhattacharya, who has turned a director and writer with Mandaar, has shared glimpses from the upcoming trailer of the series. Interestingly, his own popular web series Byomkesh season 7: Chorabali released on Hoichoi some time back and has been receiving a lot of accolades.

Srijit Mukherji, Anjan Dutt and Aparna Sen among other directors, spoke about the actor's directorial venture while wishing him luck on his new journey. Soumik Haldar, who helmed Byomkesh season 7: Chorabali, was also among one of the filmmakers to talk about the fine actor and his upcoming project. The filmmakers to talk about Mandaar were Dhrubo Banerjee, Srijit, Soumik, Suman Mukhopadhyay, Anjan, Arindam Sil, Aparna and Joydeep Mukherjee, in that order.

The promo also shares glimpses from the trailer of Mandaar, which will be unveiled on November 8. Like the teaser, Mandaar trailer also promises to be a visual delight. One can see an aerial view of the beach, where the sand meets the sea.

In the series, Anirban is seen as a police officer. Despite just playing one role, the actor shows a clear change in personality. The promo also shows the various roles he has taken up in the past, including the uber-popular Byomkesh.

Soumik, who helmed Byomkesh 7: Chorabali, has turned the DOP for Mandaar. The news comes right after Byomkesh's release.

Mandaar is slated to release on Hoichoi this November. The OTT platform is yet to reveal the exact release date of the show. It is likely to be unveiled once the trailer is out.
