Ranbir Kapoor's Animal has shattered many box office records. Find out how much the film earned at the global box office.

Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is unstoppable at the box office. The film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has had the cash register ringing since day 1 of its theatrical release. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, the movie clashed with Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur on December 1, 2023. Within 15 days of its theatrical run, Animal is all set to enter the ₹800 crore club at the global box office.
Animal worldwide box office collection
A while ago, the makers of Animal shared the official worldwide box office figures on social media. The official account of Animal on X revealed that the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has minted about ₹797.60 crore at the global box office.
Needless to say, the film will easily surpass ₹800 crore today. A few days ago, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film surpassed the lifetime global box office collection of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2.

Animal domestic box office collection
While Animal's global BO collection is closer to the ₹800 crore mark, in India, the film will soon enter the ₹500 crore club. According to Sacnilk, Ranbir's film earned around ₹8.02 on day 15, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹484.86 crore.
Animal gets a sequel
Even before Animal became a blockbuster, the makers had decided that a sequel to Vanga's film would be made. Once the film hit the silver screen, it was confirmed that Animal's sequel, Animal Park, would be made in the future. Ranbir Kapoor will be an integral part of the movie. It is also expected that Triptii Dimri, who played the role of Zoya, will have extended screen time in the sequel.
About the film and its characters
Animal happened to be Sandeep's third movie after Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh. In this movie, Ranbir played the role of Ranvijay Singh, while Anil Kapoor was seen as his father, Balbir Singh. Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, played the role of Ranbir's wife, Geetanjali. Bobby Deol played the part of the antagonist, Abrar.
