Animal : The Ranbir Kapoor starrer was supposed to be made in Telugu first, here's how everything changed

Ranbir Kapoor's Animal is one film which is being awaited by one and all. The makers released the pre-teaser on the 11th of June, 2023 and within no time, the promo has gone viral. Ranbir Kapoor is seen in an action-packed avatar in this film which is being directed by Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Well, not many know that Sandeep wanted to make Animal as a Telugu film initially. One of the sources close to him tells us that Sandeep narrated the story of Animal to a few young stars in Telugu cinema but none of them were ready to do such a brutal film. That is the time he got a chance to remake Arjun Reddy in Hindi.

The news is that during the making of Kabir Singh, director Sandeep Reddy happened to narrate the story of Animal to Bhushan Kumar, who was producing Kabir Singh. The ace producer suggested Sandeep that the story had great potential to work in Hindi and took the director to meet Ranbir Kapoor and the rest is history.

Sandeep Reddy himself co-produces this film on his home banner Bhadrakali Pictures and has told in all his interviews that Animal will be high on violence and emotions. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir Kapoor's dad in this film which also has Rashmika and Bobby Deol in key roles.

For the last few days, there was news that the film has been postponed to a further date but the makers confirmed with a teaser that the film will indeed be out on the 11th of August in a grand manner. Harshvardhan Rameshwar is composing the film's music.
