Animal teaser: Ranbir Kapoor unleashes his wild side as he roars in Sandeep R Vanga’s thriller

The makers of the action movie Animal have been creating a buzz on the internet with the first look posters Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Now as promised, the much-awaited trailer of the film is released on the special occassion of Ranbir Kapoor's 41st birthday.

The trailer opens with Ranbir Kapoor's character talking about his father with Rashmika Mandanna's character Gitanjali. We are then shown Ranbir's journey into Animal as a result of the traumas his father, Anil Kapoor, enacted for him in the past. Sandeep Reddy Vanga appears to be living up to his expectations in this film, which has an excellent background score and an intriguing plot teaser. Don't miss Bobby Deol's cameo towards the teaser's conclusion; it is definitely worth watching. 

The teaser clip teases a lot of action with a dash of emotional baggage in the movie with RK's character picking up guns and fighting. The brutal action sequences and Ranbir's persona, who is previously shown as a decent man, both appear lethal.

Wile speaking to PTI earlier this year, Ranbir said: "It's a new territory for me. It's a crime drama and a father-son story. It's something audiences don't expect me to do. It has got shades of grey."

About Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, whose 2017 Telugu smash Arjun Reddy starred Vijay Deverakonda, is behind the camera for Animal. The director also directed the Hindi adaption of the movie titled Kabir Singh. It was a huge success in 2019, starring Shahid Kapoor.

Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series, Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga's Bhadrakali Pictures. In this crime drama, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, the film also stars Tripti Dimri and Shakti Kapoor in key roles. Animal will hit screens on December 1.
