On Ranbir Kapoor’s 38th birthday, makers unveiled a teaser of his highly anticipated crime thriller film Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The bone-chilling teaser of Animal has already created a stir on the internet, making fans acclaim Ranbir as the ‘best actor in entire Bollywood’.
Netizens’ reaction to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal teaser
Netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to reshare the teaser of Animal, while showering praise on Ranbir’s screen presence and Sandeep’s dark narrative. One user wrote said, “I repeat with utmost confidence, no actor in the current generation has the screen presence and the aura of Ranbir Kapoor. He is a born Star. #AnimalTeaser is MAD… Sandeep Reddy Vanga is going to deliver the most violent, bold and controversial film of the year. And of course, it’s a Blockbuster. Can’t wait.” Another user wrote, “I guess I have never been this excited to watch any film just after watching the teaser. Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and RANBIR KAPOOR all look dangerous! BRING IT ON.”
Meanwhile, some users were quick to compare the scenes in the teaser with Sandeep’s earlier film Arjun Reddy and even Anurag Kashyap’s movies. One user wrote, “Typical @iamvangasandeep shot - probably Interval scene with Animal Title Card similarly like Arjun Reddy,” while another wrote, “If you tell me this frame is from an Anurag Kashyap movie, I wouldn't deny it for even a second. The teaser had a peaked raw AK’s taking vibe to it.”
One user also commented on the chemistry between Rashmika and Ranbir in the film. They said, “I couldn't help but notice how good they look together #AnimalTeaser.”
Sandeep is best known for the 2017 Telugu film Arjun Reddy (starring Vijay Deverakonda) and its Hindi remake, titled Kabir Singh, which featured Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani as the lead characters. Animal is set to hit the theatres on December 1, clashing with the Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar.
