Animal star Rashmika Mandanna starts shooting for Girlfriend, first look goes viral

Rashmika Mandanna is on top of her game with back-to-back hits under her belly. She is high on the success of her latest film Animal which has made heads turn at the box office as it has amassed over Rs 250 crore to date.

Well, a few days back, we at OTTplay were the first ones to reveal that Rashmika has signed a film titled 'Girlfriend' with actor-turned-director Rahul Ravindran, who made the National Award-winning film Chilasow.

Well, the news now is that Rashmika has started the shooting of the film today in Hyderabad. A few intro scenes of Rashmika were shot in a college in the Gachibowli area of Hyderabad. Rashmika's look from the film was also revealed to the media. Dressed in a Shalwar Kamiz, Rashmika looks elegant in a no-makeup look.

For Girlfriend, director Rahul Ravindran has joined hands with mega producer Allu Aravind, Mass Movie Makers, and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. Ace producer Allu Aravind graced the sets on the first day of the shoot.

The first schedule will last 20 days and will have key actors in addition to Rashmika. Krishnan Vasant wields the camera while musical sensation Hesham Abdul Wahab scores the music.
