As we all are eagerly awaiting to watch Ranbir Kapoor's performance in his much-talked-about film Animal, his co-star Bobby Deol has received a lot of praise on social media for his appearance. Fans are constantly discussing his villainous role from the movie, which they first saw in the teaser and learned a little bit about in the trailer.
Prajwal Shetty, Bobby's personal trainer, has now revealed how Bobby trained to get the look that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga intended. He revealed that Bobby, the antagonist, was supposed to appear "broader than Ranbir" according to Sandeep.
Bobby has been trained by Prajwal who revealed that in order to acquire this appearance, Bobby gave up sweets and worked really hard for four months. In an interview with India Today, Prajwal revealed that Bobby followed his regimen and diet precisely.
“The director had already told me that in this film, Bobby should look broader and bigger than Ranbir," he revealed, expressing Sandeep's intention for Bobby to appear "broader than Ranbir." He stated that Bobby's body needed to be more massive and muscular and they followed the instructions precisely. Our efforts were so intense that his body fat percentage was reduced to 12. Considering his excellent body mass intake, his weight fluctuated between 85 to 90,” he added.
He revealed that Sandeep was really impressed with the results they achieved. He revealed that although Bobby isn't a foodie, he had to give up sweets for training. He claimed that despite his love of sweets, he went four months without eating any of them.
