Ever since the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna's Animal was released, the buzz for the film has gone to the next level altogether. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has designed the trailer in such a way that it has stunned one and all and made the film a talking point all over.
The action drama is all set to release on December 1, 2023, and will have a wider release in Telugu as well. A few weeks ago, we at OTTplay have already reported that star producer Dil Raju had bagged the Telugu dubbing rights of the film amidst heavy competition.
We have now come to know that Dil Raju has spent a whopping Rs 17 crore for these dubbing rights. This is a very high amount for a Hindi film releasing in Telugu. For Animal to be in the safe zone in Telugu, it has to start with a blockbuster talk across the Telugu states.
Seeing the way the trailer is creating enough buzz, a majority of the audience will love to watch the film in Hindi. But thanks to Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor has created a decent following in the Telugu-speaking audience and many would love to watch the film in Telugu.
To take the film deep into the audience, Ranbir promoted the film on Balakrishna's OTT show, Unstoppable with NBK on Aha the other day. In the days to come, we have come to know that Dil Raju is planning a small event in Hyderabad to create more awareness about the film.
Animal features Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in key roles. Anil Kapoor will be seen as Ranbir's dad in the film which is about a father-son relationship. Harshvardhan Rameshwar composed the music and seasoned actors like Shakti Kapoor and Suresh Oberoi will be seen in important roles.
