Animal is unstoppable at the box office! Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer hit the silver screen on December 1. From day one of its theatrical run, the film has performed exceptionally well at the ticket window. Having said that, Animal has also shattered several box office records, including that of Gadar 2 and Sanju. As of today, the Vanga directorial is set to cross ₹450 crore mark in India.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Animal earned ₹13 crore on day 11 at the box office. Taking that into consideration, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial's total collection stands at ₹443.27 crore.
On the other hand, the worldwide box office collection of Animal has reached up to ₹717 crore. If media reports are anything to by, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer will soon cross ₹750 crore mark at the ticket window. On day 10, Animal surpassed the lifetime global collection of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2, which was released on August 11, 2023.

Animal shatters Gadar 2's record
Within 10 days of its theatrical run, Animal shattered the lifetime worldwide collection of Gadar 2. While Ranbir's film grossed ₹717.46 crore globally, Sunny Deol starrer minted ₹691.08 at the worldwide box office. For that matter, Vanga's film also surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of Ranbir's 2018 film Sanju. The Rajkumar Hirani film minted ₹586.85 crore whereas Animal raced past ₹600 crore.
About Animal's second intsallment
Animal has got a sequel, which is tentatively titled Animal Park. The film will feature Ranbir in a double role while Triptii Dimri might have more screen time in the sequel.
As far as Animal is concerned, it features Ranbir as Ranvijay Singh. Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of his love interest, Geetanjali. Apart from them, Anil Kapoor has a pivotal part to play in Animal. Bobby Deol, too, plays an important role of antagonist in the movie.
