Boney Kapoor has confirmed that No Entry 2, the sequel to the 2005 hit film No Entry, will star Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor. The first installment starred Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Fardeen Khan. When the news of No Entry 2's star cast was leaked, Anil Kapoor was angry. Why? Because the actor wanted to be a part of the sequel as well. However, his brother Boney told him that there was "no space" for him in No Entry 2. The producer added that the news got leaked before he could tell Anil about the sequel's new cast.
In an interview with Zoom, Boney Kapoor said that Anil Kapoor was angry as the news of the No Entry 2 sequel had already been leaked. "It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did," he said. The producer mentioned that his brother is still not talking to him properly becasue of this. However, Boney hopes that things get sorted out soon between them.
Revealing why Varun, Arjun, and Diljti were cast in No Entry 2, Boney said that Varun and Arjun's off-screen bond would translate onto the big screen since they are good friends in real life. He wanted to bring Diljit onboard since he enjoys a great fan following. Boney revealed that his choice of actors was made keeping in mind that he wanted to make a film that is relevant in today's time.
Meanwhile, a source told Mid-Day that Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh will play double roles in No Entry's sequel. Filmmaker Anees Bazmee will be directing the movie. He is currently busy with the shoot of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. That being said, Boney Kapoor intends to release the film in 2025, which will also mark 20 years since the film's first installment, which was released in 2005.
Earlier, it was reported that there would be 10 actresses in No Entry's sequel. However, no actress has been confirmed to be a part of the comic caper yet.
