Anees Bazmee sets the record straight! Reveals he's excited for both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, and Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, will face off on the big screen this year. Rumours have been circulating that the makers of Singham Again, which stars Ajay Devgn, are considering a second postponement of the film, following their first postponement during the Independence Day 2024 weekend. Additionally, reports suggest that there has been a push for the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Anees Bazmee responds to release date controversies

Bazmee responded to the reports in a statement, revealing that the media has misinterpreted his recent statements. On X, the filmmaker stated that he believes some members of the media are misinterpreting his words. As a filmmaker with over 30 years of expertise, he concentrates on creating captivating tales, avoiding the intricacies of film release and business. Many films have been successful even though they came out on the same day.

Anees Bazmee remains detached from box office battles and release date conflicts

Earlier, when asked about the collision between his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devgn's Singham Again at the box office, Bazmee chose not to comment in an interview with Mid Day. The filmmaker addressed the rumours that producer Bhushan Kumar met with Devgn and Shetty to discuss the possibility of averting the fight, which surfaced a few days ago. Bazmee has stated that he would prefer to occupy himself with producing high-quality films rather than worrying about the box office.

He shared that if he doesn't want to talk to Devgn, why should he? The producers made this business decision; he must follow. The team firmly believes that they must release Singham Again on Diwali. Conflicts should never be encouraged. They did declare the release date of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 a year ago, but now what? A good film, in his opinion, can succeed even without a date. Regarding release dates and box office receipts, Bazmee is the last person to become involved. Producers and distributors have made these calculations and conclusions.

The Diwali 2024 weekend will see the release of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
