The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film Anchakkallakokkan released the first song, Thumbi, on March 9. Malu has sung this interesting soundtrack, along with the backing vocals of Usha, Vishalam, Sudha, Sunitha, and Indira. Manikandan Ayyappa has composed this song, which has been penned by the music director and Malu.

In the song, a police squad headed by the character of Chemban Vinod Jose is seen looking for a guilty party. It also shows a group of people in a toddy store dancing to the upbeat soundtrack. The music video's creators received praise from viewers, which heightens interest in the soon-to-be-released film.

Anchakkallakokkan to release on March 15

Lukman Avaran, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Manikandan R Achari are playing the lead roles in Anchakkallakokkan, which is slated to hit the big screens across the state on March 15. Merin Mary Philip and Megha Thomas are appearing in the film as female leads.

Ullas Chemban has directed this movie. The screenplay has been penned by the director himself. Chemban Vinod Jose bankrolled the film under his production company, Chembosky Motion Pictures. Armo is the director of photography, while Rohit V S Variyath has helmed the editing work. The art director is Ranjith Kotheri.

This week saw the release of the trailer, which shows both actors as characters that the audience has never seen before. Lukman portrays a new police officer assigned to a police station located in an isolated region near the border between Kerala and Karnataka. It also raises the expectations of viewers for this film by hinting at a quirky comedy with some interesting action scenes.

Other releases on March 15

The Chemban Vinod Jose-starrer will be releasing in theatres, along with the thriller drama Secret Home, which features Chandhunadh, Anu Mohan, Sshivada, and Aparna Das in lead roles. In the meantime, February films are still doing well in theatres, including Dileep's action-drama Thankamani, which debuted on March 7.
