Anasuya Bharadwaj on Pushpa 2: 'Every ten minutes will have a high point that will keep the audience...'

Pushpa 2 is set to hit the screens on December 5, 2024, and the makers are racing against time to complete the film. Although a portion of the shoot remains, they are confident they will finish in time for the release.

Anasuya Bharadwaj, who played one of the main antagonists in the first part, has a significant role in the sequel specially crafted by director Sukumar. She will appear as Sunil’s wife and has an important part to play in the story. Anasuya recently appeared on Bigg Boss 8 Telugu to promote the film.

When host Nagarjuna asked for more details, Anasuya responded, “Sir, I can’t reveal much about the roles or storyline, but I promise the drama will be intense in part 2. Every ten minutes will have a high point that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.”

Anasuya, who began her career as an anchor, was first selected by Sukumar for Rangasthalam, where her performance surprised everyone. Now, she has been given another lead role in Pushpa 2, where she goes de-glam and shares some powerful scenes with Allu Arjun.

Reflecting on her experience, Anasuya says she enjoyed working with Bunny (Allu Arjun), and all her scenes with Sunil and Allu Arjun have turned out excellently. Mythri Movie Makers have already sold the film for a huge sum, and for Pushpa 2 to break even, it needs to earn at least Rs 1000 crore at the box office. 

Anasuya assures that Pushpa 2 will live up to the hype, with Allu Arjun at his peak and Sukumar delivering an intense and engaging narrative. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
