Ananya Panday tells pregnant Alanna Panday - ‘I’m ready to be a masi’ | Check out the video of her family’s reaction

Bollywood star Ananya Panday’s cousin sister Alanna Panday recently revealed that she and her husband Ivor McCray were expecting their first baby together. The couple posted a video on their Instagram handle, wherein Alanna was seen flaunting her baby bump. They also posted a video on their YouTube channel, showcasing the couple’s journey from 2019 to when Alanna broke the big news to Ivor. In their latest video, Ananya Panday is seen reacting to the big news!

Now, Alanna and Ivor have posted a video on their YouTube channel titled Alanna & Ivor, showcasing their family’s reaction to the pregnancy news. The video starts with Alanna, showing the viewers the baby's ultrasound image. Then she showcases some snippets of her family’s reactions to Alanna being pregnant. While her grandmother was excited to become a great-grandmother, actor Chunky Panday exclaimed, “Are you having a baby!!”

After Alanna told the news to her and Ivor’s parents, she called her cousins and best friends. Then she called Ahaan and her family who had gone to Ananya’s home for game night.

Ananya’s reaction to the big news

When Alanna exclaimed that she wanted to show everyone something, Ananya quickly stated that if she (Alanna) was pregnant, then she would die. “I can’t handle this. Even I’ll start crying if I hear this,” she further said. When Ananya took the phone and looked at Alanna she said, “Alanna stop, you can’t be pregnant” to which Alanna said, “I am.”

During the video call, Ananya comically asks Alanna if she could cut the umbilical cord of the baby to which Alanna replied, “I think you’ll faint before doing that.”

Ananya is ready to be a masi

Ananya also expressed her excitement over the arrival of the new member of the Panday family, stating that she’s too excited and she’s ready to be a masi. She also said that the baby can’t say aunty and uncles, they have to call Ananya a masi and Ahaan (Alanna’s brother), mamu.

The family also spoke to Ananya’s father and actor Chunky Panday who after looking at the photo album on the video call exclaims, “Are you having a baby?”

Amid the reactions, Alanna’s mother, Deanne Panday also flaunts her custom-made t-shirt which had the words, “I’m going to be a grandma.” written on it.
