Now, the next highly anticipated release is Anaganaga, a period drama featuring Sumanth Akkineni in the lead role.

To mark Sumanth's birthday, ETV Win announced the film along with its intriguing first-look poster. The poster showcases Sumanth as a family man, riding a bike with his wife and son in a middle-class setting. In Anaganaga, Sumanth plays a school teacher, and the film takes audiences back in time to an era when teachers were deeply principled and emotionally connected to their students. With each passing year, Sumanth has been selecting roles that align with his age and maturity, and Anaganaga is no exception.

Anaganaga cast and crew details

Written and directed by Sunny Sanjay, the film presents Sumanth in a refreshing, relatable avatar. The music for Anaganaga is composed by Chandu Ravi, while Rakesh Reddy Gaddam and Rudra Madireddy have produced the film. Venkatesh Chunduru has handled the editing, and Pawan Kumar Puppala is the cinematographer. As per the makers, the film is a feel-good, clean family drama.

Adding to the excitement, noted actor Srinivasa Avasarala plays a key role in the film. Anaganaga is in the final stages of production, and its OTT release date will be announced soon. Given Sumanth’s recent struggles at the box office, he has also begun exploring character roles in OTT films and series.
